The Account Specialist / Administrator role is accountable for working closely with Area Sales Managers (ASM), other company employees, plant personnel and the corporate office on all necessary administrative functions to support the Sales and Marketing group.

Account Specialist / Administrator Job Duties:

  • Work closely with Area Sales Managers (ASM) to ensure customer quotations, pricing, sales order set-ups, etc. are accurately entered into the computer system in a timely manner
  • Communicate directly with ASM's, other company employees, plant personnel, corporate office, and customers to answer questions and distribute or explain information as needed and requested
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and process credit/rebills as required. MRMC+4M Spokane Valley, Washington
  • Administer and manage trucking bills, freight invoicing and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner, etc., if required within that area of the Region
  • Maintain files, records, and other documents of sales information and history.
  • Resolve customer inquiries by investigating issues, developing solutions and making recommendation to management
  • Contribute to a team effort by working with the Western Sales group in accomplishing area, regional and corporate results as needed
  • Fulfill back up duties for other Regional Acct. Specialist / Admin's when they are out sick, on vacation or need assistance during busy periods
  • Work closely and cooperatively with other Regional and Corporate Acct. Specialist / Admin's
  • Communicate and coordinate with ASM's and other company employees to perform duties and activities for other sales events as necessary
  • Work within a corporate structure in a cooperative and cohesive manner
  • Have good customer service and communication skills
  • Strive to meet Company goals and core values

Account Specialist / Administrator Skills, Knowledge, and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum two years of direct customer service, administrative and office experience
  • Knowledge and usage skills of office equipment, strong computer skills, good communication and group working skills, good customer service skills, good math skills
